Our Privacy Statement and Pledge

When you sign this petition, you provide us with your name, email address, address, zip code and some demographic information. 4ERA.org is the sole owner of this information and we will not sell, share, or rent this information to any organization, company or individual in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. We may share your information with others only on an aggregated basis. We will not share information in such a way that it can be linked to an individual. There is one exception to this rule, however, and that is if the petition is presented to the Arkansas state legislature or the US Congress, as demonstration of actual citizens supporting the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment. At such time, the recipient will receive a disaggregated list of names with only names and addresses. This is because for a petition to be effective its recipients must receive a list of names rather than simply an aggregated number of signers. No individual or organization other than the designated recipient--that is, the Arkansas legislative body or the US Congress-- will receive this disaggregated information.

The information you provide when you sign the petition is stored by our servers but is the exclusive property of 4ERA.org

Once the petition is deemed completed and delivered to the Arkansas Legislature, the petition data will be deleted from our server.

The Equal Rights Amendment says:

Section 1. Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of sex.

Section 2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

Section 3. The Amendment shall take effect two years after the date of ratification.

We, the undersigned voters of the state of Arkansas, support ratification of the federal Equal Rights Amendment and its addition to the Constitution of the United States of America. We call upon members of the 86th General Assembly to pass legislation ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment giving equality of rights for men and women.
